Screenmasters Australia – Crushing It For Over 30 Years

Apr 13, 2026

Screenmasters Australia (SMA) is based in Wetherill Park, NSW, and serves as a national centre of excellence for the business.

It’s 5,200 square-metre facility supports operations across Australia and functions as the primary holding site for both capital equipment and spare parts inventory. This site is complemented by a 5,700 square-metre facility in Brisbane, along with three additional warehouses in Bathurst.

From these locations, a team of experienced service technicians support the sales network across Australia, from major cities to more remote regions in Queensland and Victoria.

SMA provides sales and service nationally to the quarrying, mining, aggregates, recycling and civil construction industries.

As Andy Blythe, General Manager explains, “This is not an easy industry. When you’re throwing rocks at machines, there are always going to be challenges, and we have to be there to service and support them. That said, the business goes far beyond just having good equipment and a large inventory of parts. Without reliable service and backup, it all means nothing.

With over 30 years of industry expertise, we’re not ‘just a reseller’ – we bring deep industry knowledge, strong capabilities, and a highly solutions focused approach. We offer world-leading brands of jaws, cones, screens and impactors, and have a complete range, both mobile and fixed.”

WHAT MAKES SMA DIFFERENT?

One of SMA’s core strengths is its people. From ownership through to technicians and sales staff, every team member brings extensive hands on, practical experience.

That’s what sets them apart from the competition. Brendan McGee, Service Manager, explains: “Every member of our team has completed Keestrack and Rockster dealer trainings. We fly staff over to Europe, for advanced dealer training. This gives us better insight into new and old machines, and ensures we’re all up to scratch, maintaining the highest level of expertise.

SMA is the authorised exclusive dealer for world-leading brands including Keestrack, SRHeavy by Metso, GIPO and Rockster, and they’re adding more brands all the time.

The company offer a comprehensive range products and mobile solutions, including impact crushers, jaw crushers, cone crushers, VSIs, scalping screens, incline screens, horizontal screens and conveyors – with an extensive range of equipment always on hand.

SMA’s commitment goes beyond machines. They focus on keeping customers running at peak performance, with a substantial stock of spare and wear parts stored right here in Australia for immediate dispatch.

Ben McGinley, VIC/SA Sales Manager explains, “In the crushing and screening industry, the range of machines, and parts – is enormous. For any of our given machines, we carry most parts including: common wear parts, blowbars, impact plates, cheek plates, wear plates, as well as hydraulic and electrical components, motors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, sensors and more.”

With nearly $5 million in inventory on hand, multiple containers arriving annually, along with air-freighted components for special, urgent requests, SMA ensures customers receive what they need, when they need it. They offer next-flight delivery service covers Australia wide, with parts picked as late as 8pm and delivered on site by 6am the next morning.

Why SMA’s experience matters

Ciaran Lagan, SMA’s National Sales Manager, spends much of his time working directly with customers in the field. He highlights a common mistake businesses make when selecting crushing and screening equipment:

“One of the most frequent mistakes companies make is choosing equipment based on price or immediate availability,” he explains. “However, selecting the wrong machine can be costly. If it’s not suited to the specific application, it can lead to lost production, increased wear and tear, higher maintenance and servicing costs, and greater fuel consumption.”

SMA takes a different approach. Rather than simply selling what’s available or the cheapest, the team focuses on finding the right solution for each customer. This involves gaining a detailed understanding of the client’s requirements, including the type of material being processed, the desired product size and operational restrictions. From there, SMA recommends equipment designed to deliver a genuine competitive advantage.

You Can Count on SMA

For customers unsure of the best solution, SMA offers on-site demonstrations—bringing equipment directly to the job site to test performance in real-world conditions. This hands-on approach ensures the machine is the right fit before any purchase is made.

As Ciaran explains, “When the right equipment is in place and the customer is performing well, their business is positioned to grow. They can hit production targets, operate efficiently, generate profit, and confidently invest in future assets.”

Much of SMA’s long-term success is built on repeat business. This is driven by their commitment to recommending the right equipment and providing ongoing support throughout the customer’s journey.

For SMA, the relationship doesn’t end with a sale. As Ciaran puts it, “We aim to grow alongside our customers and support their evolving needs. Knowing that the right spare parts are readily available gives our clients peace of mind – and gives us the same confidence.”

When you purchase a machine from Screenmasters, you’re gaining more than just equipment – you’re entering a long-term partnership.

That’s what it means to count on SMA.
