About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, the Senior Sale Executive will spearhead and manage the sales portfolio of the company in the allocated region, including targeted budgets, plans, strategies, policies and further develop new business activities and sales programs to achieve the strategic plans of the company and provide accurate and timely sales, revenue and profit forecasts.

Based in Victoria, you will be required to travel within and/or out of state, to effectively manage and service your client base. In addition to maintaining any current relationships, you will be required to source and develop new business opportunities.

The Applicant

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Qualifications in Sales and Marketing and/or Business Management and/or proven Sales Experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge & experience of fixed and mobile crushing and screening equipment. Preference will be given those who have a proven background from within the Bulk Materials Handling sectors, Crushing, Screening, Conveying, Mining, Quarrying, Cement, Demolition Waste Recycling, and any similar and/or allied industries.
  • Experience in consultative selling solutions to B2B customers
  • Understanding of the sales process, with a drive to succeed and persistence to produce results
  • Ability to working autonomously, with disciplined organisational and time management skills
  • Highly proficient and excellent communicator
  • Computer literate with proven use of MS Office Suite, MS Visio, MS Access AutoCad, AggFlow, Bruno and/or similar, desirable
  • A current and valid driver’s licence.

Job Description

Based at our Wetherill Park Depot, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing spare & wear parts enquiries from our customers and own service department, processing orders, & ensuring all spare part deliveries are on time
  • Sourcing and negotiating with both existing and new suppliers, domestic and international, and verifying, comparing, and analysing vendor suitability and pricing
  • Liaise with domestic and international freight and expediting companies
  • Receiving and processing of spare & wear parts orders
  • Managing suppliers to ensure they deliver on time and to order
  • Working closely with customers, following up outstanding orders, providing resolutions and tracking order status etc
  • Managing stock levels, over multiple locations including customers sites
  • Forecasting spare & wear parts levels of stock in accordance with the demands of our existing installed base, new Capital Sales, Used Equipment Sales and Hire Fleets
  • Monthly/Annual Stock reviews and related reporting
  • Any other job-related tasks required from time to time

To be considered for this role you will have a proven:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role with purchasing and stock controlling experience essential
  • Ability to work in a dynamic a fast-moving environment with a high level of multi-tasking capabilities whilst always maintaining a professional attitude
  • Ex works shipping, customs clearance and importing of goods experience
  • Forklift licence, highly desirable
  • Current Drivers Licence (car)
  • Ability to read and interpret heavy equipment parts manuals and schematics
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy & attention to detail with first class record keeping and document control
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Customer service and complaint handling
  • Ability to work under you own initiative and as part of a team
  • Excellent computer skills. An understanding of Attaché and/or a similar inventory control system would be a distinct advantage
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to create and present reports to senior management on a timely basis
  • Ability to deliver and drive continual improvements within your area of expertise
  • Can do attitude
