Screenmasters Launch New Track Mounted Impact Crusher

Following on from the successful launch of the LT1213 and LT1213S in 2003, Screenmasters have sold several track mounted LT1110S impact crushers. First released in Europe in May, 2004 by the Metso group, these impact crushers fitted with screens in a closed or open circuit, have proven to be a huge success throughout Europe, America and now Australia. It is just the pure flexibility of the unit that attracts customers. It comes standard with the IC500 PLC controller. This controls the hydraulic pressure in the crusher drive circuit and keeps the crusher under even load by adjusting the feeder speed. Thanks to the automatic feeder speed control, it is possible to reach dramatically higher tonnages compared to machines equipped with traditional feeding systems without automation.

The LT1110/LT11110S has a 4 bar rotor, (rotor width 1000mm, rotor diameter 1100mm), blow bars are fixed and tensioned using a “patented” double wedge system. Both bolts and nuts are well protected, making it easier to release when turning or changing the blow bars. In order to open the crusher to carry out maintenance, only 2 bolts must be removed.

A service platform allows easy access to the engine. This platform is roomy and safe, with handrails, gates and steps for ground level access. Access to the platform is from both sides of the machine. Safety lanyrns on all conveyors are all controlled through the IC500 PLC.

The LT1110S can produce one precisely calibrated end product in closed circuit or 2 end products using open circuit.

To date these machines have been used successfully in a variety of applications.
