French President visits Metso to celebrate 500th NP1213 Crusher

Following a century of experience and innovation in the design, development and production of impact machines, Metso Minerals is proud to have reached a landmark in the production of 500NP 1213M Crushers.

The NP1213 is unique for its solid structure and combination of a sturdy rotor, wear-resistant materials and its distinctive crushing chamber, yielding revolutionary results. It is specially designed for mobile applications, for example in Lokotrack LT1213S crushing plants.

Screenmasters Australia, the Metso dealer in Australia for over 10 years, have placed over 50 track mounted LT1213(S) impact crushers throughout Australia with phenomenal results.

“We even sold one (LT1213S) recently into Karratha, Western Australia onto an application that other impactor manufacturers said couldn’t be done, and the customer couldn’t be happier. Indeed he informs us he is getting over 80,000 tons of processed material out of one set of blow bars. So he is a very happy chap” says Mick Lagan, Director of Screenmasters Australia.

The LT1213S impactor we have sold into a variety of applications, ranging from demolition concrete to hard rock. Very few have been sold into conventional applications such as limestone. Because the unit is so versatile and reliable we have been able to think outside the square and place these machines onto applications that traditionally people would have chosen a jaw/cone/screen combination. We have been able to prove over the past number of years that these machines would do a better job in most applications and not only save the client capitol costs but significant savings in running costs. These savings can be as high as $500,000 AUD in any one year now that is a figure that even the French President would be proud of.
